Owner glues the dog’s eyes and throws him into the sewer so he couldn’t follow him home

A dog was thrown into a sewer with its eyes glued “so that it could not follow its owner home.” Carlos is the name of the man who found the four-legged animal in a sewer in Barrancabermeja, Colombia, taking it immediately to local veterinarians to clean it.

The animal was found with its eyes glued in an apparent attempt to prevent it from following its owner. Several images show the dog full of glue in both its eyes and fur.

The vets confirmed that the animal had an eye infection while trying to peel off the glue. Animal activist Zoraida Santiago said it took three days to fully remove the glue as it was a sensitive area and required more precise treatment.

The dog is currently taking antibiotics and doing several tests to make sure it has no further problems. However, according to the Mirror newspaper , it is estimated that the animal will need three or four months to fully recover.

The man who rescued the animal decided to adopt it and take it home with him when the animal is in condition.

It is currently unknown who owns the animal or whether the authorities are investigating.
