Authorities confirmed that there is no evidence of crime a year after the investigation began. Case happened in the UK.
A Primark store in Essex, UK, has been under investigation for over a year after a customer found a human bone in a pair of socks. Police now came to say that this was not a crime and that the bone must have been deliberately placed.
“Right now is not linked to a criminal act,” said a police spokesman, according advances the British newspaper Mirror, it is possible that the bone was placed on the pair of socks in the country of origin but that fact can not be confirmed.
When the incident happened, the chain made an apology and said the situation was being investigated.
A year later, Primark and the authorities now say the case is closed but if any information comes up the case will be reviewed.
