Three men aged 33, 32 and 28 were arrested for being accused of raping a 23-year-old woman in a car parked in Barcelona earlier this morning. The three suspects are of Ecuadorian, Honduran and Spanish nationality.
It all happened after a night of partying at a disco. The victim told the police that he left the scene with a man he met at the establishment and who invited her to have a drink. Guarantees to have lost consciousness after drinking some alcoholic beverages.
What happened next was witnessed by at least two people passing by on the street where the crime was perpetrated. Just before 7 am, the police received a complaint that said there were three individuals raping a young woman who was immobile in a car at the same time.
The authorities approached the vehicle and saw that two men left. In the car was the young woman, unconscious and naked from the waist down, accompanied by the third member of the group, with her pants and underwear down.
The suspects also tried to convince the police that they were having consensual sex, while showing him a recording in which one of them appeared to have sex with the young woman, who barely moved.
Later, the victim gradually regained consciousness and said that he did not know how he got into that car and that he had not consented to having sex. He was accompanied by the authorities to the hospital for tests.
