The death toll from coronavirus has risen to 311 in the past 24 hours. Yesterday, Sunday, there were a total of 295 deaths, making an increase of 16 cases.
As for the number of infected by Covid-19, the DGS epidemiological bulletin reports 11730 cases, 452 more than yesterday, Sunday.
The number of recovered people almost doubled to 140, compared to 75 yesterday.
During the DGS press conference, Alexandra Bento, chairman of the Order of Nutritionists, was given the floor, who stressed that there is “no miracle solution to strengthen the immune system”. “The immune system thanks you to stay at home and eat healthily,” he said, reinforcing the intake of fresh foods, fruits and vegetables in the daily diet.
