SEF detains two foreigners at Lisbon airport with false documentation

Two foreign citizens were arrested at Lisbon Airport for using fraudulent documents, the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) announced this Friday.

According to a note from the SEF sent to the newsrooms, one of the passengers, aged 22, was intercepted while preparing to embark for Düsseldorf, Germany, with an alien document (German identity card) and another passenger, 25 years old, it was detected at border control when it intended to proceed to Toronto, Canada, “using a forged document”, in this case Canada’s permanent residence permit.

Citizens, arrested on Wednesday, were brought before the Court on Thursday to enforce enforcement measures, which were not disclosed by SEF.

SEF said that on Thursday it was intercepted at Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon), a citizen in compliance with an arrest warrant, when she intended to travel to Luton (England) and who was taken to the Tires Prison, in order to comply with 18 months of effective imprisonment for drug trafficking.
