LISBON.
The death toll from Covid-19 increased again in Portugal this Thursday: ten more people died of the disease. Five of the deaths occurred in the North region, 2 in the Center region, 2 in the Lisbon and Vale do Tejo region and one in the Alentejo.
According to the DGS bulletin, there are 770 more infected in the last 24 hours, making a total of 66,396 confirmed. Of those infected today, 255 are from the North Region, 373 are from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region, 97 from the Centro Region, 14 from the Alentejo, 27 from the Algarve. Madeira registered three infections and the Azores another one.
There are 480 people hospitalized and 59 of them are in Intensive Care Units.
There are a further 266 people recovered from the disease, totaling 44,794 recovered since the start of the pandemic.
